Training

R.L. Guimont Co., Inc. is a certified training facility for Carl Zeiss Metrology, LLC and Quality Vision International (QVI, OGP, CCP, RAM). Our goal is to provide you with the training and support you need to be successful in your everyday activities. Standard classes are offered at our facility in Fishers, IN or training can be arranged at your facility. In addition to standard classes, we also offer refresher training and application support.

ZEISS CALYPSO Training

CALYPSO training at R.L. Guimont Co., Inc. can be purchased directly from Carl Zeiss Metrology, LLC or you can use the training credits you have with ZEISS. All classes are limited to 4 people so each student receives personalized training. A part of the last day is reserved for working on parts brought by the students and customer specific applications. We have a Contura with a VastXT Active probe head, a Contura with an RDS-XXT articulating probe head, and two offline stations that can simulate any machine/probe head combination a customer may have.

OGP/QVI training

All OGP/QVI training classes are custom tailored to each customer’s specific needs. Classes typically range from ½ to 1 day at a time and are limited to 2-3 people Most people will need 1-3 sessions to be proficient with their system. We offer training on the following software:
